RESIDENT ADVOCATE

The AHA has partnered with Caring for Communities, LLC, to provide resident advocacy and self-sufficiency programming.  All residents may reach out to our Resident Advocate, Mr. Joe Grisson, by first speaking with their property manager.  The Property Manager will refer qualified matters to the Resident Advocate.  The Resident Advocate is an independent third party whose purpose is to assist our residents with navigating the AHA’s processes and procedures.  The Advocate will also assist in conflict resolution and ensuring the all resident and community complaints are addressed in a timely and mutually acceptable manner for both our residents and the AHA.

 

PUBLIC COMMENTS AT BOARD MEETINGS

If you wish to comment at our Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting, please submit an email to the address above (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or contact the Resident Advocate by phone, no later than 3 business days prior to the regularly scheduled Board Meeting, to request to be placed on the agenda for the meeting.  You will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to speak at the meeting.  If your request is related to a complaint please ensure that you have followed all applicable AHA policies and procedures prior to requesting to be placed on the agenda, as any request that has not properly progressed through the AHA complaint process will not be granted.  If you have any questions regarding the proper procedure for having concerns addressed, please contact the AHA main office or speak with your property manager.
